I'm THREE!!!!

Ok....so before we go any further into this little ones birthday we have a story to tell!


I came home from from the hospital on Saturday afternoon and had not been home for more than 3 hours when this little lady comes running to me...trips...falls...and hit her mouth on my bed frame. I pick her up to find blood gushing from her mouth only to find out she KNOCKED HER FRONT TOOTH OUT!!!!! I was SICK!!!! Obviously I have just had a baby and my hormones were not quite in check and I was freaking out my Mother-in-law thought I was going to pass out.

Good thing my brother-in-law is a dentist and came straight over. And to sum it up she will be our little Hillbilly for a good 3 years and either tooth on each side could possibly go grey as well. Lovely, call me vain but I still think it is just a bad dream and I am going to wake up one day and my little girl will have her perfect smile back.

So a huge swollen lip, black and blue gums and a diet of scrambled eggs, yogurt, and apple sauce (only things she dares to eat) is what we have been dealing with. Oh and did I mention I had a baby 6 days ago. Just today (Tues.) she is starting to look back to her NEW normal. The fat lip has gone away she is letting me brush her top teeth again, and she getting a little braver to try and eat some of her favorite things as long as mom cuts them up.

Good thing she is so DANG ADORABLE toothless and all! So enjoy some pictures of my new and improved little Elle!

She was begging to open presents from the moment we opened her door that morning.

There is not much in the world this girl loves more than snuggling up with anything and everything. A new cuddly blanket made her day!

And today her grandma took her to Build a Bear to get a new Bunny and to go out to lunch! It was such a fun day just Ellery and Grandma.(And mom and baby, there was no way I was going to miss out on this trip!)

She loved giving the bunny a bath.
