Nothing but CUTENESS!

Not much to blog about these days. Life is good, other than Ellery's little cold:(. Here are just a few pictures I've taken of her the last few days, ENJOY!!

I love this picture of Porter and Ellery playing together. It doesn't happen too often. Porter usually gets pretty annoyed with her, but the other day they were playing together so well! And there is nothing cuter than a sleeping baby! OOOHH I just want to scoop her up and snuggle her in this picture!
P.S. I can't believe there are this many pictures where she is not wearing a bow. (GASP!)

LOVE him!

I went to pick Porter up from Nursery today, and before he ran out the door his leader stopped us to make sure Porter got his picture that he colored. As he went to get his picture this is how the conversation went...

Me: "Porter, what did you learn about today?"
Porter: "I love you"
Nursery teacher: "Wow, he's right! We learned about how Jesus loves us."
Porter "I love you!"
You just never know at this point how much he is soaking up. I love that he was able to understand what I was asking and that he was listening during his class and totally got it! And what an important lesson too. I hope he always remembers how much Jesus, his parents, sister, family and friends all LOVE him! What a PERFECT boy!

Daddy's Girl

Ellery and her dad were having so much fun playing the other night. She was laughing so hard, they have so much fun together!
Jason loves to pick Ellery up by what he so lovingly calls her "bowling ball"!
Happy GIRL!!

Chillaxin'

Holly Cow! My little boy is so dang cute. He is all about chillin' and relaxin' these days. It's so big of him to hang out on the couch and watch his shows! It's come a long way from standing and staring at the TV for a minute at a time. (Of course he couldn't do it without cars in hand!)

Last night Jason and I went out on a little date to the dollar movie. (I think it's funny that they call the $3.oo movie out here the dollar theatre!) So we got Porter in his jammies and asked him if he wanted to go and sleep at Madelyn's house. And this is what we got, him BEGGING at the door with his nite-nite!
I felt so bad for getting his hopes up a little too early. We weren't leaving for another 3o minutes or so. He finally gave up and laid down by the door just waiting to go. Besides, it was past his bed time and this kid loves to sleep! And totally not related, but bloggable (is that even a word?) I don't know why I haven't done it sooner, but I have started doing Ellery's hair with product and I am very happy with it. Ellery's hair is the exact opposite of Porter's, stick straight and very fine. There is a good amount there and there is even some length to it, it's just so fine.

**And to my sisters-in-law in Utah..... I am DYING to see a picture of my new nephew Noah. I know Wendy doesn't have a blog but you guys see her all the time. I know you could snap a picture of the little man for me. So with that said I hope to see a post soon (Michelle? Tiffany? Stephanie?)

mY CuTe kiDs

My growing girl....in one day we:
*Found her first tooth.
*Moved her into a big girl car seat.
*Set her crib on the lower level.
*Let her taste ice cream for the first time.
In my mind those are some pretty huge steps to happen in ONE day! She's not a little baby who eats and sleeps all day anymore. Oh but she is SO much FUN!
*DISCLAIMER* You are in for a real treat, rarely do I put my face up on this blog. And a scary picture it is. But this story is to cute not to remember.

Since Jason has been home the last two weeks straight, I have found myself being quite lazy. On a normal day you can count on me and the kids all being fed and bathed by 9:30. Well when Jason is home I am a little off my game, knowing there is someone there to pick up the slack. I guess Porter has picked up on this laziness. Because the other morning I was lounging around the house not showered and being lazy, when he comes up to me hands me a pillow, left the room and found me my favorite blanket, a toy to sleep with, and a binky and said "Night-Night mommy!" Not one of my prouder Mommy moments, but oh well! It was super cute.
*At least he had been bathed and ready for the day. That counts for something right?
