Crafty Magoo!

I have been up to my elbows in RIBBON the last few days. I am on the enrichment committee in my ward, and was asked to teach bow making for our FABULOUS FRIDAY tonight! I was in Utah the whole time people were signing up for the class. I had no idea how many people signed up until I got home, HOLY MOLY I had lots to do this week!To add to it, I finished making these ADORABLE quilted flowers that I started making in Utah with my mom. I LOVE them!
The whole thing started when my mom made Ellery this cute little dress and put one on the sash.
If I had my choice I would put them everywhere. The pictures do not do them JUSTICE, they have raw edges with a very thin piece of batting in between, I just love them!!! Here are 2 little ones that I put on some clips for Ellery's (and my) hair!

Those quilted flowers are SO cute! I've been making fabric flowers too, but I'll have to learn how to do those kind because I love them. That is such a small world that you know Gentri! I love her! Her husband and Todd go to the same school. Have fun making bows!

Good luck teaching your class, we are doing bows for our super saturday tomorrow as well. Luckily I'm not in charge! :)
I love your quilted flowers, where did you get the cute buttons for the center? did you cover them with fabric yourself? You have such great taste.

lol...they talked about putting me in charge of a super saturday making bows, but then the stake did some stake thing instead. Whew!

Those quilted flowers are cute.

Kaitlyn's hair has really taken off in the last few months! Nate and I both have really fast-growing hair, so she was destined. It can be nice, but it is aweful for a short cut. Within two weeks it is totally grown out, you know?

I just made a bunch of bows for Kaitlyn. Here is a link to my craft blog:

WOW! Good job. YOu are busy, that's so great you are doing these to stay busy, as if you don't have enough to do. That dress is darling. I am impressed. If and when i have a girl I will get your help.

Those are so cute. I remember once, I asked my mom why she couldn't make a whole dress in two hours like your mom did. I was slightly jealous. She's very talented!

Oh yeah, and by the way, I'm making bows for a friend. Have any leftover ribbon for sale?
